Eclectic and experimental musician, Piero
"BlackBass" began his way in the world of music
when he was 16; he played bass in a great number of bands,
building his own style picking up from a great variety of
genres and artists.
His major influences are Les Claypool, Billy Sheehan, Stanley
Clarke and Flea.
In 2000 he's first classified in the "Best Guitar and
Bass Player" world web contest from Ernieball/MusicMan
and ACID as Rock Bass Player.
His live experiences go from Italian exhibitions with his
main bands, to international collaboration and gigs with great
musicians in Chicago.
He actually plays and writes songs as a solo performer and
in different bands, and he began a teaching activity.
The main bands he's actually involved in are "LosBastardos,
Primus tribute band", "Gold" and "Lunae"
of course, which he entered in the middle of 2003 to complete
the new astonishing line up.
